Promotion Confirmed
Leicester City's 10 year absence from the Premier League is officially over. Defeats this afternoon for QPR and Derby, at Bournemouth and Middlesborough respectively, mean that now only Burnley can prevent the Foxes from being promoted as Champions. It is an incredible achievement, made even more remarkable when you consider these statistics: there are still 6 games remaining, City are on a run of 21 games unbeaten - stretching back to the start of December, the Foxes have won 27 league games this season - equalling a club record and outdoing any other club in English league football. They have completed the job in style and the club is well and truly on the up. Congratulations to Leicester City Football Club!
